Kallen Gervace Jensen

Hope you are all comfy in your chairs, because this is going to be a long post. But with such an adorable little fella, how could it not be.

On our way out the door to the hospital at 4:50 in the morning. I can not believe how BIG I was!!

My bed for the next couple of days!!

Excited daddy!!

Hope our little guy looks like him!! We will soon find out.

Being wheeled into the operating room after a very long morning of pokes and prods, blood being drawn, IV's, puking and drugs. This is the last picture of Kallen and I as one.

Owen is patiently waiting outside this door. Notice the sign says, C-Section Suite!! YA RIGHT!!

All suited up, just waiting for the OK from Dr. Watson to come in. Owen asked a nurse to take his picture because he knew I would want to see this. He was right.

Dr Watson is on the right ( he was the delivering Dr) Dr Zollinger on the left (he was my Dr when I was growing up) I loved that he was able to assist Dr Watson. Just knowing he was there was such a comfort to me.

He is here. Healthy with 10 fingers and 10 toes. He was being handed over to the nursery for them to clean him up and all that fun stuff he had to go thru.

I laughed so hard when I saw the tie dye scrubs. I wonder what Kallen was thinking when he saw all these bright colors.

Owen's 1st time holding him.

The 1st time I was really able to see him. Love at First Sight.

I know this is such a horrible picture of me, but it is all part of the story.

Notice the Dr behind Owen. He was my Anesthesiaologist. I remember him being on his phone to his wife telling her what he needed from the store. REALLY? WAS IT THAT IMPORTANT?

Owen just kept looking at him.

Getting all sewn up!!

BIG BOY!!

They had to give him a bath when he was only minutes old to get him to scream hard enough to make all that yucky come out of his lungs. Silly little boy.

These next few pics melt my heart.

Dr Watson was also the Dr for Kallen. He did an amazing job!!

Owen had to ask them to re-weigh him and re-enact this picture because he was doing a collage of pics for me for Christmas of the 2 kids. We have these exact pics of Kendyllee after she was born, so he wanted to have them with Kallen as well. Great idea Honey!!

This is the 1st time Kendyllee was seeing her baby brother.

Loving and kissing on him already.

1st feeding

Grandma Jensen and Taytum

Grandma Candy

1st family photo. Kendyllee was so scared of all the needles and tubes in me. She wanted nothing to do with me. Poor girl.

At our house, sock monkeys have become a part of the family. Owen saw these little ones and just had to buy a pink one and a blue one. This is what the kids gave each other the 1st time they saw each other.

Looks like Owen got the raw end of this deal.

LOVE HIM!!

All snuggled up!!

The day after he was born mom and dad brought Kendyllee up to see us. She was so happy and excited to be able to hold her baby brother. She is going to be such a fabulous big sister.

She even fed him all by herself.

Grandpa and Kallen having a nap together. Notice they are sleeping the same way.

After the 1st time daddy gave him a bath.

All ready to go to Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's house.
