Kendyllee has mastered the art of climbing in and out of the tub. She thought she needed to have a tub, only this time with her diaper and jammies on. Yikes!!

Playing ball with daddy

Kendyllee and two of her favorite things in the world...her ball and her daddy!! She loves to play with her ball and run and kick it around. So this is a real treat for her to have her daddy play with her. And as you can tell she also loves to kiss and say ''thank you''!!

Caught on tape!!

My Monkey!! She is climbing on everything she possibly can!! Even the water bottles. Goodness!!

What does a Dinosaur Say???

For those other moms whose kids love to watch PBS cartoons in the morning will appreciate this post. Kendyllee is so fascinated with Dinosaur Train. She loves to run around the house and growl and screech like a dinosaur. It is so hard to corner her and get a descent video of her so lately we have had to record her when she is occupied doing something else. You might laugh at our attempts, but some times you gotta do what ya gotta do!!

A FOREVER FAMILY

Three years ago today, Owen and I became An Eternal Family in the Boise Temple!! He is my best friend and I love him more and more every day!! He is everything I have ever wanted in a Husband for me and Daddy to our children. Thanks for these last couple of years. I love you!!

We really needed something on our walls. Ever since last September when we thought we were moving back to Nampa, we have had nothing on our walls. I refuse to unpack what we can live without. So when we were given this wall hanging by Owen's parents for Christmas I was thrilled. It is so nice and is perfect for our likings.

Owen bought this for me in the Grand Teton Mall in Idaho Falls when we went on our date. I fell in love with it when I first saw it. And after we had lunch I asked Owen if we could go back so he could buy it for me. It is hanging above our table!!

We received so many wonderful pictures from family and friends in our Christmas cards, I wanted to make something for Kendyllee's room to hang some of them on. And this is how it turned out. This butterfly material is also in her quilt and her toy box so it worked perfect. Don't ya think?
All filled up with some of her favorite people!!

dRIVe hOMe

Let's just say that our drive home from Rexburg was AWFUL!! We ended up leaving the night before we had planned because of weather issues that were coming the next day. We had planned on driving the entire way home that night. Well, Kendyllee had other plans. She slept for a couple of hours until Ogden and then I put in a movie for her to watch hoping she would fall back asleep. We were on the other side of Salt Lake City and I was beginning to get really tired and could hardly keep my eyes open and Owen was almost the same way. I told him that I thought we should pull over and just stay in a hotel because we still had over half the drive left and Soldier Summit to travel thru. But he thought we could make it so we kept going. Being me, I kept telling him that we needed to pull over and stay some where. We made it to Provo and he finally gave in to his tired, nagging wife and pulled off the free-way. Just as we pulled off and was pulling into a hotel, Kendyllee thru-up like I have never seen her do before. As we flew into the parking lot, I unbuckled my belt and turned around because she was choking. Owen slammed it in park and bailed out the driverside door while I was unbuckling her, he ran around the car and opened the back passenger door and I kind of tossed Kendyllee to him. He stood in the snow covered parking lot with no shoes on and gave her the Heimlich because she was still choking. I then realized that there was a reason we had pulled off when we did. If we had stayed on the free-way another 15-20 seconds all of this could have been happening on I-15. Wow what a blessing the Spirit is!! We ended up staying in that hotel. While Owen went to see if there was any store or gas station open at that time of night, I put Kendyllee in the bath tub and began hand washing her car seat cover as best as I could in the sink of the hotel room. He ended up finding a gas station and all they had for any kind of juice was RED POWERADE!! Which was better than nothing. I gave her a small amount and that ended up coming right back up. NOT GOOD IN A HOTEL ROOM WITH WHITE TOWELS!! But I used them any ways. None of us got that much sleep that night. And the morning came very early. When Owen opened the door of our room and I saw a very snow covered car, I was not happy. The rest of the drive was not good either. Kendyllee had a fever and refused to eat or drink anything. Man were we happy when we finally made it home.
This is her the morning after the drama at Denny's, still saying ''CHEEEEZZE" for the camera!!

This is in Spanish Fork at the entrance/exit of Soldier Summit. Looks promising huh?? Our sick and tired girl. LITERALLY!!! Doesn't she look so sad?? This is how our drive looked the entire way!! So glad Owen was with me to drive!! This darn Semi cut us off and then we had to follow it for a couple miles. Not a nice fun thing to do when you have a sick girl in the back seat!!

Awww!! "NUMMY!! NUMMY!! NUMMY!!!" "Uh-oh!! It's all gone!!" Here daddy, you eat this crunchy thing!!"

Silly Daddy

WE LOVE YOU DADDY!!
BUT WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT WITH YOUR FACE???

Girls Lunch #2

I can not go to Rexburg with out having a lunch with my two girls! I love and miss these two so much. We had such good, silly times together growing up. It is so nice to have such good friends that love your weaknesses and your strenghts. Funny thing about these two girls...at one point in my life, I was not a fan of either on of them. The feeling was mutual. Now I have no idea what I would do with out them.
Love you Natilyn and Cami. I am so grateful you are both in my life. You are both the best!!

KENDYLLEE'S 1ST DENTIST APPOINTMENT

We have been wanting to take Kendyllee to the Dentist for a while now, but we were very hesitant on who to take her to, so we made an appointment for her to see Owen's dentist in Rexburg. She did really good, until the Dr. came in any way. I was just a snapping photos like crazy when the nurse was doing her thing, but then when Dr. Stroebel came in and she began to scream, I forgot all about taking pics and was worried about her. Silly mommy. Daddy held her on his lap and that seemed to help out a lot.
All was well. The Dr. said she has beautiful teeth and nothing to be concerned about. PHEW!!

The nurse trying to get Kendyllee to let her look at her teeth with the "Shiny Barbie Mirror". Didn't work!! She was not a fan of flossing either!! It helped when daddy flossed his teeth first. It is a good thing he was there to give us support. I AM NOT A FAN OF DENTISTS EITHER!! YOU ARE NOT STICKING THAT THING IN MY MOUTH. What if daddy does it first? Ok then if daddy is doing it. What a big girl!! "Mommy, look at my yellow puppy?" "Thanks for helping me daddy!! I love you!!"
