HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST MOM EVER!

Today is my mom's birthday! I want her to know to know how much we love and miss her and hope she has the best day ever.
I am so proud of her and that she has accomplished and overcome in her life. She is a very strong woman, and I know that I am a good mommy because of what I have learned from her and am still learning from her.
Here are some pics we have of her. We love her very much!!

UH OH! What have I taught her?

Yesterday while I was talking to my mom on the phone, I watched Kendyllee do the funniest thing! She has a doll that she has really learn to love these past couple of days. She took her doll and very upset like, walked over to the corner with it (the one she sits in when she is trouble) and placed it just where she sits and then proceeded to tell it "No No No!!" With a little Kendyllee gibberish in there as well. I about died laughing! Then she walked a couple steps then turned back and faced her dolly who was in "Time out" and told her once again,"No No No"! Then she walked over to me and told me, or at least what I could only imagine was, that her dolly was in big trouble and she put in in the corner!! I think her dolly is going to be named No No! I have no idea what to do with this. I have tried telling her other things, besides No No, when she is doing some thing mischievous. But I guess that is not sinking in like I want it to. I have also started telling her yes when she does some thing good. Any other suggestions? Owen and I really having to start watching what we say in front of her. Not that we say anything bad, but just decided we needed to be more aware of what is coming out of our mouths. What a funny little girl we have!

HACKERS

As many of you know, I have a Facebook account. Well yesterday I had someone hack into my account and send many of my very good friends some very inappropriate videos! (Sorry if any of you received them) Fabulous right? Well that is not the bad thing. They also were nice enough to send me a VIRUS!! Thats right. Our desk top is now out of commission for a while, until we can get it in and have some one clean it up for us. At first I thought, no problem. We have a lap top!! But then I realized that I do all of my bloggin on the desk top. That is where all of Kendyllee's pics are!! So I am not quite sure how I am going to blog in the near future. I might take the pics and save them on the lap top and blog from here or I might just blog like normal with out the pics and then save the post and publish them later when I can add the pics. So I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. For those of you who know me well, know that I am very computer stupid. So I will have to wait and see what kind of program is on the lap top for my pictures.

It really makes me mad that some one had to do this to us. Some people have no life and think it is funny to add a little more turmoil to others lives. GGGRRRR!!

Kendyllee's new bath toy!!

Kendyllee was taking her bath last night and I was in her room putting away her blankets and clothes she always makes a mess of, and I heard this very funny noise coming from the bath room. I walked in and this is what I found her playing with! UGH!!!

She was holding on to the handle and splashing it and out of the water over and over. She thought it was fun and laughed and laughed until I took it away. I know this is not the best toy for her to be playing with. So needless to say...Kendyllee had her very first shower last night.

So Proud

So this is what Kendyllee decided to do instead of taking a nap. She took all of her diapers out of the package and opened most of them. I love it that she knows how to open doors and drawers!!! It is job security for me!
Then when I went to take pictures of her mess, she looked at the camera and had this most proud look on her face. I think she was saying "Look what I did mom,and all by myself!"

Wearing a hat..Daddy style!

The other day, Kendyllee and I both felt like crap, but I had to go to the store. I was not in the mood to fix her hair, so we decided that it was going to be a hat day. I love it when she wears a hat, she looks so much like her daddy.

Palisade Peach Festival Parade

We wanted to do something fun as a family on our Anniversary. So we made the short drive to Palisade to see the parade. Here are some of the fun pics. The parade was fun and short and sweet. It only lasted about 15 minutes and that was perfect for Kendyllee!
My favorite car of the parade!!
These little John Deere tractors were powered by the riders. That's right. They had pedals like bikes.
Aaron and Heidi...these are for you! Love and miss you all!
This old Ambulance was really cool!
This little doggy was soo cute!
Kendyllee loved waving and saying "Bye bye" to all the people as they past by! One of the ladies gave her this pig as she walking by instead of a piece of candy. (What a great idea!) When you squeeze its tummy it oinks!!
This train was awesome.
Love the Caboose
The best looking man I have ever seen!! I am soo blessed to have him as my Eternal Companion!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!

Today Owen and I are celebrating our 6th Anniversary. Here are a couple of our wedding photos. They are a little blurry because I had to take pictures of pictures since we were married in the stone age before Digital Cameras were a big thing. I hope you enjoy!

I am very grateful to have such a wonderful husband. He is a great father to Kendyllee and sacrifices so much for us everyday. Thank you honey and we love you very much!

15 Month Check Up

Kendyllee had her 15 month check up today and it was torture for both of us. She usually does really well with the check up stuff. But today that was not the case. She screamed as soon as the nurse walked in the room and then was fine once she left...until the Dr came in. For some reason this time she was having a fit and wanted nothing to do with either one of them.
Here are her stats...
Head-18 7/8 inches=94%
Height-31 inches=84%
Weight-22.9 pounds=47%
(due to walking and her having the runs for the last 4 days and not eating and drinking a whole lot)
The Dr said she is very smart for her age and is healthy as well. We have been concerned because she WILL NOT drink milk. It does not matter what flavor or what cup it is in. When I asked her about that and told her that she loves cheese and yogurt, she told me that as long as she has one yogurt a day there is no reason to worry about her not getting the calcium and calories. So that was a big relief to us.
Now comes the bad part. After her Dr appointment, I had to go across the hall and have her blood drawn. Talk about torture for both of us. I hope I never have to do that again, but I think I am going to have to. She jerked her arm and pulled the needle out of the vein. So then I calmed her down just enough so they could poke her in the other arm. They could not find her vein and I had to lay on her and help hold her down (along with 2 other nurses) while she layed on the table looking up at me with the most terrible look on her face. They fished around in her arm for a minute or so (seemed like forever) with a needle 2 inches long in her arm. Finally the nurse decided she was done and pulled the needle out and bandaged her up. I felt like the worst mother in the world. I cried right along with her. But they do not think they got enough blood for all the tests they had to run so that is why I think they will have to do it again. :(

Where did our baby go?

So Owen finally talked me into letting go of the last thing I did for Kendyllee showing she was still our "Little One". And that was feeding her. She has been feeding herself finger foods for a very long time and she usually makes a HUGE mess of it. So I have been very hesitant about letting her feed herself when it comes to using the spoon. But we both decided that it was time and she needed to learn that coordination. Here is how breakfast turned out. AN EVEN BIGGER MESS! I know you are all thinking "Well ya! What did you think was going to happen?" And I will be honest, I knew it was going to be like this. But I just wanted to hold on to my little one a little longer. So here she is all grown up and feeding herself! SNIFF SNIFF!!

Kendyllee has learned to talk to her Heavenly Father

Last night at dinner Owen and I sat down to the table and Owen began to pray and I heard Kendyllee make a funny noise so I opened my eyes to make sure she was not choking on her food and this is what I saw. She had her arms folded and her head bowed and she was praying with us in the cutest little voice. Then when she was done she clapped and said "Daaaa" which means "Yeah".
