Nothing is as sweet as this!!

There is nothing sweeter than a baby that is sleeping. Especially when she is teething. Thats right, Kendyllee has another tooth. That makes 3 and she is working on her 4th one. It should be in any day now. She just looked so peaceful and beautiful that I could not resist.

Sunday was a sun shiny day here in Colorado. At one point is was 55 degrees. So we decided to bundle Kendyllee up and take her for a ride in her wagon. It was the first time she was able to sit up and see what was going on. She thought she was the coolest girl in town. What a character! Her eyes were also shining. I love this blankey. Thanx Uncle Paul, Auntie Jodie and Taytum. It kept me super warm.

Daddy did my hair!

While I was cleaning the kitchen yesterday, Owen was putting on Kendy's jammies. And this is what he did to her hair. It was so cute. Owen could not stop laughing at how it was sticking straight up all over her head. So then he decided he would put lotion in it and make it stay that way.

Proud Papa!

Super big day for Kendyllee!

Kendyllee had a big day today. Not only did she learn to stand in her crib, she also started rolling over. FINALLY! She does really good going from her belly to her back, but we still help her a little going the other direction. Time to Kendy proof the house.

Uh oh, Kendyllee has learned something new!!

While changing Kendy's diaper today, she threw her binky behind her changing table, so I needed to move the changing table from the wall to retrieve it. I decided to put Kendy in her crib while I did that and when I placed her in it she decided she wanted to stand instead of sit. So I stood her up and placed her hands on the side rail. She LOVED it.

This is a video I got of her waving to me today. She does not do it as well as I had hoped but you get the idea. She loves to wave with both hands and just goes crazy. Hope you enjoy.

KeNdYlLeE iS 8 mOnThS!

Kendyllee turned 8 months old while we were in Boise. So here are some pics I took of her this morning for this post. She is working on her 2 top teeth, which makes for a fussy baby with a runny nose. She has learned to say Mamamamamama over and over again until I answer her. I think she know that is my name. It is really funny when I hear it in the middle of the night over the monitor. She has also learned to throw temper tantrums when she wants something. I guess that is her way to communicate with us until she learns to talk. She has also learned how to wave this last weekend while my parents were here. I will try and get a video of her waving to her daddy tonight. Owen and I love her so much. She gets more beautiful every day.

Tv girl

I was watching the Inauguration this morning and Kendyllee was so interested in it. She watched almost the entire program, until she realized it was her nap time then she could have cared less. I could not believe how in tune she was to the tv. Notice how her feet are crossed and her hands are placed in her lap. What a proper lady.

Back in town.

Kendyllee and I are back at home now. We flew back yesterday. Our trip was super fun. We enjoyed our time with the Ives family. Kendyllee sure had a HUGE crush on Aaron (Heidi's hubby). Everytime he would look at her she would flash him the biggest smile and then bury her face. She did this the every time Aaron would even look at her. I knew at some point in her life, we would have to worry about one of the Ives boys, I just did not know it would be the daddy! ;D It is a good thing Heidi loves Kendyllee. While we were there, we had a girls party at Heidi's house Her sister and two sister-in-laws and two family friends came. We had so much fun. We totally pampered ourselves with a foot massager and a parafin wax bath for our hands. We painted each other toe nail. Thanks a ton girls. I had a blast. See ya next time.

Thanks Heidi for everything you do for me. I love and miss you already.

PHotO ShoOt wiTH ThE IvES BoYS!

Heidi and I had to take pics of our wonderfully sweet and B-E-A-UTIFUL children. They did pretty good. The only way we could get Gabriel to sit still is to give him my phone with the MP3 playing. Just to warn you there are tons of pics, so get comfy and enjoy.

Gabe is so sweet. Check out his hair.
Kendy loved Gabe's binky, notice hers is on the bed next to her.
What a cute bunch!
OOpps, sorry Gabe!
Kendyllee showing the Ives boys who is boss.If that is not love, I don't know what is. I love the look on her face.
Love the hair Gabe!
Just relaxing with her buddy Christopher.
Stealing a quick kiss.
Say CHEEEEEESSE!

Fun in Boise!

These have got to be cutest kids ever.

Aaron gave Gabe a chocolate cookie and I think it is safe to say that he LOVED it.

Playing in Gabe's room!

Check out Kendyllee's new moves!

While Kendyllee and I were in Boise she showed off her moves to the Ives family. Heidi was able to catch them on camera.

It was Elvis' birthday on January 8th and because we were at Heidi's house we HAD to have a birthday party for him. Chris did his Elvis dance and played the guitar for us. And then Kendy decided she wanted to be a part of the celebration. So this is her version of the Elvis dance.

Kendyllee is such a ham. She makes us laugh so much every day. I was singing to the radio at Heidi's house and she started to jig to the music and the she started doing this. Hope you enjoy. (Sorry about the singing)!!

MeRRy ChRisTMas!!

We had a very wonderful Christmas here in Colorado. It has been many years since we have had a white Christmas. I was excited when Owen needed to go out and shovel the sidewalk and driveway in the afternoon.

Kendyllee in a true Jensen. She and her daddy were both wide awake at 6 am. I was hoping to get to sleep in. I do not know what I was thinking. This is the first year Owen and I have waited till morning to open presents. We usually rip into them at midnight and then we are able to sleep in. Kendyllee was not quite sure what to think of everything. She was just happy daddy and mommy were both home when she woke up.

Here are some before and after pictures. Notice how nice and clean the front room is. Just wait and explosion is about to happen.

BOOM!!

Kendyllee sitting amongst the disaster wondering what is going on.
We had a fabulous day. Just stayed in and watched movies and ate junk food.

Check out my new toys!!

Thanks Tyson, Mandy and Brooklinn for my toy. I love it but it keeps getting away from me. But I like the noises that it makes.

My Grandma Candy made me this doll for Christmas. She is so fun and she is as big as me. She wears the same size clothes and shoes as I do. Her name is Hollee Marie Day. I love her so much. She sits on a rocking chair in my room. Thanks Grandma!
Yeah, look at Pooh go. He can crawl and wants me to crawl with him. Maybe some day.
Daddy bought mommy and me Cabbage Patch Dolls. Mine was born on my due date which was May 7 and mommy's was born on her birthday Dec. 8. Thanks daddy!

Catching up

Owen and I have noticed such a personality developing with our little angel. The Christmas presents have really helped it come to the surface. As you can tell by the pictures below, she is a real cheeser!

Showing off her pearly whites.

She has started doing this when she is in her high chair. I have no idea where she learned it, but it is stinking funny. It is like she is saying " Oh no mom!"

She had just woke up from her nap and one of her pony tail had fallen out. So she had one that was so cute and perfect and the other was a poof ball.
