It's about time!

Vacation... here we come. We are leaving tonight after Owen gets off work to spend some time with our families. We will be staying with my parents for a few days and then all the Jensens will pack up and head to our yearly weekend at the Condo in Sun Valley. It is so much fun to have all the Jensens together. This year we are doing family pics on Saturday, since the last one is missing 3 grand kids and one daughter in law.

Then Owen and I will be heading to Boise to spend time with the Ives family. We will be there for a week and then Owen will head home while Kendyllee and I stay there for a couple weeks. We will miss him very much.

So the posts will slow down for a while. But do not fear, when I return the bloggin will be out of control.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines Day with your sweetheart.

What a Turkey!

So I was sitting at the computer desk organizing everything for our taxes (ggrrrrr), and I turned around and saw this. This laundry basket is Kendyllee's toy box for now. And now I guess it is a toy too. She was smiling so big and was giggling until I got out the camera.

kEnDyLlEe Is 9 MoNtHs!!!

Kendyllee is 9 months old today. She is growing so much everyday and learning new things. She has been working on her two top teeth for quite some time now. One finally popped thru a week or so ago. We are still waiting on the second to finish. I say finish because, a corner has broke thru the gums a couple days ago and then stopped!! So the other night I was changing her diaper against her will and guess what I found? ANOTHER TOOTH ON THE BOTTOM! I did not even know she had been working on that one. So now she has, 3 on the bottom and 1 1/2 on the top.
She is continuing to learn (and is getting much better) at rolling over. One of these days she will realize it is not such a bad thing to be on her tummy and then she will figure out how to crawl.
I was talking to my dad the other day and was telling him how stubborn she is. All he could do was chuckle. I guess I deserve it for all the stubborn times of mine.
Any who--- here are some pics I took the last couple of days. Enjoy!
And yes, she is in the kitchen sink for her bath due to circumstances out of my control.
Kendyllee Jensen--come on down!! You are the next contestant on The Price is Right. (That is what she was watching.)

Such a princess.
She loves to rub her hand back and forth across her mouth and make noise.
Playing with her toys and jabbering.

This says it all!

I know, you are all probably wondering why I would post this picture. I know I look like crap. But let me explain, I have good reason to look like crap. This is the day Owen and I brought Kendyllee home from the hospital. One of the all time best days of my life!!!
This picture means very much to me because of who is in it with me. This is Heidi and her son Gabriel. (I am holding him and she is holding Kendyllee.) She is one of the most amazing people I have ever known. Her testimony of the gospel is so strong and she glows with the Light of Christ. She is true to who she wants to be everyday. She has helped me so much. She is an excellent mother and wife. I love her so much and I want her to know that. She is such a wonderful example to all those around her. Some day once again, there will be a trail in the grass from our front porch to theirs. But until then, we will continue to talk to each other on the phone (at least 4 times a day), and even over the headset during a very important battle of Halo 3.
Heidi, I love you tons!! I really hope you are prepared for the coming weeks.
Thanks again! You are a wonderful friend and I am so grateful to have you in my life!!
